Peak to peak or eat2eat?

Whistler’s new Peak to Peak is a must see this season. Wow! It’s an amazing piece of mechanical engineering but the main thing it does is transform the resort. No longer do you need to descend to Whistler to get to Blackcomb and vice versa – these bottom slopes aren’t the world’s most exciting at the best of times and can be busy and icy. So now in only 10 minutes you can be on the other mountain at time you are over 400m off the ground – great view. Look, if you are beginner you probably don’t care, but everyone else can snowboard (or ski) hard and stay high (in the case of last week that means above the clouds) all day. The restaurants on either end could mean the local nickname “eat2eat” sticks though.
