Pastures new – from Farringdon to Vancouver

Sebastian Gray (founder, owner and now MD of itlab) says, “Dom is off to a new role starting the UK division of a Canadian hosting corporation ( and leaves us a company in rude health. We are making good profits; we have cut our cloth to weather this credit crunch and are delivering excellent service. It is a measure of how far we have come as a company and the strength of the management team that Dom has built that his departure will have almost no day-to-day impact.

Dom will still be around, both on the phone if any of you need him, and in his new capacity he will still be working out of our offices for his new company. Our firms will be close partners from the get go, indeed, we will shortly be launching CloudLab – our hosting division – which will likely be amongst the first customers of his new venture.

I am very grateful to Dom for two eventful years; it is very much a case of mission accomplished, and look forward to working closely with him under the new arrangement in the future. I must also remind Dom of his policy of not supporting farewell parties both to save myself a few quid in lager, but also because it isn’t really good-bye, just au revoir.”
